Lexus of Kendall Tees off at the Glen Rice Celebrity Golf Tournament

On May 16th, 2022, the Bean Automotive Group Lexus dealers were honored to be a sponsor of the Glen Rice Celebrity Tournament to benefit and support mental health care for children in our community. The event took place at the Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club facilities and we were represented by Joaquin Azar from the Bean team.

Community Health of South Florida, Inc. (CHI) opened its doors in 1971 to help people of all ages by providing primary and behavioral health care services. They started a campaign in Miami Dade County to help address the mental health crisis among children in our community by investing $5.5 million to build the first comprehensive Children’s Crisis Center in South Florida. They help approximately 1000 children in mental health crises annually.

Glen Rice is a celebrity ambassador of CHI and a former professional basketball player of the NBA. He aims to expand the work CHI is doing with our children, create awareness of the mental health crisis many children endure, and thanks to donations from sponsors and attendees from the tournament, be able to finish building the center.
